Butters Indiana's Story...
Im a great kitten!
Butters was born about September 25, 2016 and is an extremely social, playful, kitty. He is such a little character! He's a fun, happy, and a little on the mischievous side! Just look at that face, he is just so handsome. Who can resist those beautiful eyes when they beg you to play? Play time will be lots of fun for him and you. He arrived here with his three siblings and his Mom. Here is their story: We are sometimes just too full of cat and kittens to take more, but we do try to help our volunteers and previous adopters if at all possible. So we get a call from a previous adopter explaining that her sister has a cat and litter of kittens on her property and none of the shelters will take them - will we? We have a smidgen room so we say ok. She arrives here and says "long drive", we laugh, as humans from Rochester say that about coming here all the time and we think nothing of the drive there. She then tells us the feline family was in Indiana not Rochester!!! Now that is a devoted human who goes to visit her sister and brings these fur kids ALL the way here to safety! Sadly, the human hit a deer and wrecked her car after leaving here to go back to Rochester - the world just isn't fair. We are all so glad this didn't happen with the cats in the car and that they are all safe and sound, looking for new homes. These kitties are used to wheelchairs, walkers, chickens, ducks, rabbits and have spent a night or two in a hotel and did very well.
A cat can live 12-18+ years if cared for properly. Be sure you are able to care for it for its lifetime.
