BERNARDO ~ He's a 7-8 year old black and white dachshund mix, possibly cocker spaniel.  He was found by Good Samaritans who took care of him prior to reaching out for help.

He is incredibly sweet, calm and adjusts quickly.  He is great with other dogs, cats and children.  A well-round boy.

We suspect he had a rough start since he had an old fracture on his front leg that was never treated.  Also a broken tail, and an old large scar on his neck and upper back.  None of this has has broken Bernardo's spirit.

He is vaccinated, neutered and had a dental.  His foster mom says he prefers to sleep in the big bed but will sleep in his doggy bed if that's what you prefer.  Bernie  is a wonderful boy looking for love.  Could this be you?

If you are interested in meeting or adopting him please complete an adoption application and schedule your home safety check so you are pre-approved.
