Bonnie's Story...
Bonnie looks so much better in person as she does not like the camera that much, she always looks so scared. She is not a scared little girl at all. In fact she is very fun loving and energetic. This poor little girl was dumped at the pound by her owners with her blanket and a toy. Thank goodness the volunteers got to her before she went into the pound and called us. This is a high kill shelter and no place for a puppy. Bonnie is only about 4 months old and we believe she is a pure breed Plott Hound. Bonnie is fully vetted meaning fixed, current on shots, micro chipped and on monthly prevention. She would love another buddy to play with and a nice fenced in yard to run and play. She is almost house trained, not a fan of a crate. This little face will melt anyone's heart.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bonnie, a Hermitage Plott Hound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Plott Hound for sale in Hermitage, or seeking a Plott Hound puppy from a breeder in Hermitage.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hermitage already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hermitage breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Plott Hound breeders who help with Plott Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hermitage paves the way for another one to be saved.
