Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Zoe is a young female pittie who was found by a police officer in a troubled Chicago neighborhood. She's a true sweetheart who we'd love to find a great family for. Zoe is around 2 years old and is medium sized, weighing about 45 pounds. She loves other dogs and humans of all ages. She's kind, loving and playful through and through without a mean bone in her body. Zoe's only bad trait we can see is that she will jump up when over excited. She'd be a fantastic candidate for a training class, we think she'd shine and really enjoy it. She is very treat motivated!
Zoe LOVES other dogs. A fenced in yard (or people really committed to some other form of exercise) is really important for her because she loves to run and romp.
Zoe's adoption fee is $150. This includes her spay, heartworm test, fecal test, vaccines and microchip (which costs $10.99 to register).

Happy Tails Rescue Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit foster-based rescue based in Munster, Indiana. We have no shelter, all of our animals are cared for in loving foster homes until their forever home match is found. All of our animals are fully vetted before adoption, including distemper, rabies, and bordatella vaccines, a heartworm test, fecal test, microchip, and are spayed/neutered. Adoption fees range from $150-$350. If you're interested in meeting one of our animals please fill out an application first. If approved we will then arrange a meet and greet. Happy Tails does not do same day adoptions because we do a short home visit to make sure our animals are being placed in safe environments.
