Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Suki, an approximately 3 year old small, 40 lb Black Lab mix. Suki has 2 white socks and a white splotch on her chest. She was adopted approximately a year ago but returned due to twin circumstances (Suki's strength when spotting a rabbit & her anxiety about being the only dog in the house).
She is very sweet, calm and loves human attention but absolutely MUST be adopted to a home with at least one other dog. She's fantastic with children of all ages and just likes people in general. Suki will follow you from room to room but won't jump on furniture unless invited. Currently, she sleeps through the night in the bedroom with her foster family's other dogs.
Suki will amuse herself by tossing toys up in the air and has great fun playing with her foster sister, Faith, who is a smaller Border Collie/Cattle dog mix. When Suki plays rougher with her foster brother, Ajax, she is very vocal, growling and grunting a lot. Suki has not snapped at Ajax unless he is VERY rough with her. She is fine with cats and knows "Sit", "Stay", "In the Car" and "In the Bed".
She loves going for car rides, laying quietly in the back and while she does not climb a fence, has been known to sneak out in fence gaps that she can squeeze thru. Suki knows how to climb stairs, walks well on a leash (unless she spots a rabbit) and loves sleeping in bed with her people. She is also housetrained.
Suki is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations. If you would like to meet Suki or have further questions, please call Margrit at 630.820.1584.
Her adoption fee is $200.00.
