Princess's Story...
Princess is a 2 year old short stack pittie girl looking for her forever home. She gets along great with dogs, cats and kids! Princess does need some basic obedience training, but that is no problem because she is eager to please and quite the smart girl. Princess is very much a social butterfly and is determined that every stranger she meets is instantly her best friend. She would do great in a home with dog savvy kids, but because she can be quite rambunctious at times, a family with older kids may be best. She has lived with another pittie before and they got along great together. She has also been cat tested and as long as she is shown that cats like their personal space, she does just fine with them. Princess is confidant, goofy, and loves her belly scratches! She would make the perfect addition to almost any loving, forever home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Princess, a Salem American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Salem, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
