Sofia and Mindi's Info...

I am already spayed, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Sofia and Mindi's Story...
Sofia and Mindi are two adorable sisters who were rescued from the mean streets of Brooklyn. While still a little bit shy, the girls are safe and loved in a dedicated foster home, and have grown in size, cuteness and readiness to accept love from people. As evidenced by the pictures, the girls are strongly bonded, and love doing everything together. We are looking for that special family who will give Sofia and Mindi a home together, and who will be patient, to enable them to continue their journey in opening up, so that they will become confident and trusting around their new family.

In their true kitten form, the girls are adventurous, playful, and they love finding out new ways to be adorable. They sleep on each other's heads, enjoy kitten massages, and team up when playing with their doggy foster brother, leaving him always one step behind.

Sofia and Mindi are around 5 months old, already spayed, up-to-date with their shots, and have tested negative for FIV, and FeLV.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sofia and Mindi, a Brooklyn Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
