Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Penny is a 4 year old red-nosed pit who has been the mom to many and is ready to be your loyal companion. Penny willingly goes in her crate and is house trained. She knows sit, stay, paw, and is learning how to walk on a leash. She is pretty good on the leash with a harness - but she does get excited and has a tendency to pull when there are outside distractions. This is a behavior that can be modified with simple dog training. In terms of energy, she is very low-key on the pit bull scale! She loves people but rarely jumps or barks. She does love to chew and will need ample amounts of chew toys to keep her busy.
We recommend she goes to a cat-free household. We are still unsure of her history around dogs so that will need to be determined on a case-by-case basis. She can get overly excited around smaller dogs but seems to do OK with dogs her size. Again - this will need to be explored further and may depend on other dog(s).
Her adoption fee is $200 which includes her spay, vaccinations, microchip, and paperwork. Please let us know if you have any questions. If you are still interested in meeting Penny, we can set up a time and place that works for both of you.
