Henry is a hunk of love! He loves the company of everybody. Henry is a smart dog who wants to please so teaching him will be easy. He is a strong boy on the leash, only because he was never taught. He lived with other dogs and enjoyed their company so he may do well with your current pooch. He would love a big yard of his own to run and play in. Henry is so deserving of his forever family. His surrender was necessitated due to health issues in the family. He is a typical social Lab who is ready for his new family that will never give him up. Stop in and say hi to Henry!

About The Voorhees Animal Orphanage

About Our Shelter...

The Animal Orphanage of Voorhees is a loving place that welcomes 2,000 homeless pets each year. Our shelter is open intake, which means our doors are open to dogs and cats of any age, medical condition or breed. We are a no-kill facility and do not euthanize for space.
We are a non-profit organization and depend on donations and volunteers to keep our shelter doors open.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our orphanage is open to the public Monday-Friday from 12pm to 7pm, with the exception of the second Wednesday of each month during which we are closed for major cleaning.
On weekends you can visit our orphans between 12pm and 5pm Saturday and Sunday. We also have some adorable adoptable cats and kittens at offsite locations: PetSmart in Marlton and PetValu stores of Cherry Hill, Marlton and Voorhees.

Our Adoption Process...

All potential adopters must be at least 21 years of age.
An application must be completed and can take up to a week to process. Once an application is approved, family meets, dog meets (if applicable) and home checks must be completed.
