My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Alma (cream) and Tillie (brown) are two great examples of why you have to be careful when purchasing a new dog. Alma and Tillie came from a puppy mill where their only job was to produce puppies for sale. They never received love and affection. They never knew life in a home or a life as a family pet. When they were no longer able to produce a profit they were discarded. That is the sad life of a puppy mill dog. Alma and Tillie have been in rescue now for nearly 5 years, waiting for the chance at a real life and a forever home. Alma is 11 years old and Tillie is 10 years old. These adorable girls will need a home with a very patient person, as they do not know how to receive affection. They shy away from it, but when they are held they melt in your arms. They also need a home with understanding, as they are not completely housebroken. Alma and Tillie are bonded and because Tillie is nearly blind, she relies on Alma to get around. These two need you! They need that very special person out there with the time and the patience to offer these two girls the life they have never known! They will do best in a home with no children. A home with a fenced in area may be ideal for them.
