Uma's Story...
My name is Uma. I'm a one year old purebred Siberian Husky. People often stop just to tell me how beautiful I am, and even though that's very true my best feature is my sweet personality. I love my humans with all my heart.

I had to have a cast for almost 2 months (a car ran over my leg) and it has not been fun at all, then I had a splinter, not fun either. When the splinter was finally off my doctor said I needed to remain calm. CALM? I asked, I'm a husky and that word doesn't exist in my vocabulary! Anyways, I have to follow doctor's orders for my own good. He said I can only walk maybe for 5 minutes on a leash to gain strength on my leg but that will change as time goes by and my leg gets stronger.

Because of my leg, they have several restrictions for my next home. I must be an only dog but I can live with a larger laid back fur-sibling. Another young dog can injured me, I must have a fenced in yard so that I can be able to play, and a very patient family that lives in Orlando so that I could be checked up when the doctor wants to for my leg. I do not have permanent damage, doctors are just cautious, and I'm ok with that.

I am good with kids, housebroken, don't really like crates but I have gotten better, I am not destructive. I love toys, giving kisses and loving you! I am spayed, up to date on my vaccines, and microchipped. My adoption fee is $300 Email if you would like to adopt me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Uma, a Clearwater Siberian Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siberian Husky for sale in Clearwater, or seeking a Siberian Husky dog from a breeder in Clearwater.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Clearwater already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Clearwater breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siberian Husky breeders who help with Siberian Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Clearwater paves the way for another one to be saved.
