Jethro's Story...
Jethro is a lovely boy inside and out. We don't know his age as the vets have given a range of 2-3 to 7. His foster believes him to be older. He does have some arthritis in his hips. He pretty much gets along with anybody and anything. He'll believes in turning the other cheek and defusing a situation. He's still a little restless inside as he was almost certainly an outside only (aggressively enforced it appears) dog but is becoming more and more comfortable. We're still working on his house-training. He loves to be loved and deserves to find that special home where he can be someone's special boy.
We require and above ground fenced yard and his fee is $100.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jethro, a Fayetteville Bloodhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bloodhound for sale in Fayetteville, or seeking a Bloodhound dog from a breeder in Fayetteville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fayetteville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fayetteville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bloodhound breeders who help with Bloodhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fayetteville paves the way for another one to be saved.
