Russell's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Russell's Story...
Russell is an all white, rough coated, neutered male Jack Russell Terrier. He is 6 months old, completely house broken and crate trained. Just a bundle of cuddles and love and energy. Not good with cats, but loves kids over the age of 6 years. A house with a fenced yard is a MUST for a JRT. Russell is hearing impaired but is learning hand signals - he's very smart! All shots are current, heartworm testing is negative, and he has been microchipped. The adoption fee is $200. Since this is not a breed for everyone, go to the JRTCA website at and read all about Jacks BEFORE you visit the JRRS website and learn more about Rescue. You must email us for an Application for Adoption at Without a completed Application, we will not process your request.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Russell, a Scottsdale Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Scottsdale, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Scottsdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scottsdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scottsdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scottsdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
