Serena's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with cats.

Serena's Story...

Serena is a young adult cat that was cared for by someone since kitten-hood, but then was left to fend for herself until a rescuer helped get her medical care and brought her to our rescue.  She is very, very friendly with people and gets along in the foster program with the other cats.  We do not yet know if she likes dogs. Her personality shines as much as her beautiful black coat.  She greets people that come into the room and really enjoys human touch and interaction.

She is spayed, tested, vaccinated and microchipped.

Please apply at www.thewayhomeinc.org  Her adoption fee is 55.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Serena, a Orlando Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Orlando, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Orlando.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Orlando already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Orlando breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Orlando paves the way for another one to be saved.
