Meet spunky, sweet little Pauline! Pauline is a petite, 1 year old and 8 lb Yorkie terrier mix. Pauline takes a little time to get to know new people and bond, but once she does she is a snuggly young gal who loves to Play. She gets along with other dogs and even cats who totally get that Yorkie Gals just want to play, play play! She can get rowdy when she plays too, so she would do best with other rambunctious playmates who will tolerate her high energy. Pauline has learned how to use the doggy door and is somewhat pee pad trained, though she still does have a few accidents. She is crate trained and will sleep in her crate through the night. (When she was left uncrated, she would try to initiate play with the other dogs at 3 am!) Pauline can be barky, so she would be best in a house versus apartment setting, and with someone who can get her out for lots of walks and playtime to keep her busy and quiet at home. Pauline would do best in an adult only home and would not do well with children. Another doggy playmate is a must for Pauline to keep her happy. Pauline is spayed, microchipped and current on her vaccines. Her adoption fee is $250.
All of our dogs are in private volunteer foster homes, and as such these individuals are most qualified to answer any questions regarding the dog.
We do not have a central shelter or kennel locations - you must make a private one-on-one meet and greet appointment with each individual dog at the foster family's convenience. To protect our foster families' privacy, we must have an APPROVED adoption application on file before we release their contact information.
All of our dogs are fixed (spayed/neutered) and up to date on shots. We have a 2 week foster-to-adopt period to make sure the dog is a fit for your family. Adoption fees vary from dog-to-dog.
Please note that an approved application DOES NOT guarantee that the dog will be placed with you. The final decision rests with our fosters as they know the dogs the best, and please be aware that there may be other applicants interested in the same dog. We continue accepting applications on a dog until the dog is with the new adoptive family in their home.
