SHEILA (R)'s Story...
What a cutie! Shelia is really sweet too and is so happy when it is her turn to go outside. She is true to her breed and is a smart girl who knows her basic commands. She will look extra pretty with a good grooming. Sheila arrived at the shelter on 2/15 as a lost doggie, and sadly no one ever came to find her. So now she is in need of a new home right away. Sheila is up to date on shots, spayed, heartworm tested negative and will be microchipped when adopted. She is about 6 years old, her ID is 592060, she is in run 874 and weighs 67 lbs. Stop by real soon to meet this sweetheart!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

SHEILA (R), a Marietta Siberian Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siberian Husky for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Siberian Husky dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siberian Husky breeders who help with Siberian Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
