found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.
Surrendered to a high kill shelter in Lumberton, NC, Quimby's owner never looked back. This three year old lab mix found himself at the eleventh hour before we pulled him. You see, he was heartworm positive and so with the cost of treatment most rescues will opt for a dog that is negative . Sadly, his owners failed him TWICE- once cause they gave him up when they were moving and once because they never bothered to give him monthly heartworm preventative in an area where infection is pretty common! HE DESERVED BETTER!
DIAMOND DOGS stepped up and now Quimbly has been treated for his heartworm and is ready for his forever home. When we had him evaluated by our trainer the report was stellar- with the exception of "NO FONDNESS FOR CATS". Quimby aced his tests: 1) In kennel/safe zone test. 2) Sociability Test. 3) Handling Test 4) Arousel Test 5) Possession Test 6) Dog to Dog test .
The Final Trainer Evaluation Thoughts on Quimby are, This dog will make a great addition to any family. A joy to be around and beautiful healthy dog.

Quimby weighs in at around 65lbs. He's been brought current on all vaccines, DHLPP, Lyme and Bordetella
. He's been neutered, microchipped and treated for his heartworm infection.
This handsome boy is headed to his foster him up north where he will be in a home setting while he's getting ready to find his forever family.
Quimby has completed his heart worm treatment and is being fostered in MA. Quimby is 3-4 years old and weighs 65lbs. Lab mix. He's a dog that was surrendered by his owner because he did not get along with cats.....so no cats please. Otherwise, he's a kool dude who seems to be housebroken, crate trained, good on a leash, and at a perfect age! He will make a great family member for anyone looking to add a great dog to their family!
