Whisper's Story...
**PLEASE READ TO THE END FOR IMPORTANT INFORMATION.**

Whisper is as quiet as a mouse. She came to us from a hoarding situation out in the county. At around 8 lbs, this 1 year old was the smallest of all the dogs. Whisper is unsure of people right now. She wants to be friends but doesn't know how to trust. Whisper is very food motivated and has no problem gently taking treats out of your hand. She is looking for a patient adopter who will give her time to come out of her shell and learn to trust.

If you would like to adopt Whisper, please fill out an application at www.TexasChihuahuaRescue.com. Her adoption fee, including transportation with vetting paperwork, microchip registration to adopter, collar & harness, is $500 CDN. DOGS 8 MONTHS OLD AND UNDER MUST BE PICKED UP IN BUFFALO BY THE ADOPTER(S).

Texas Chihuahua Rescue is based in San Antonio, Texas. This dog is being fostered in the San Antonio area. Additional photos and videos will be made available to potential adopters upon approval of our online adoption application. Transport arrangements will be made upon application approval and completion of the adoption agreement.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Whisper, a Hamilton Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Hamilton, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Hamilton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hamilton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hamilton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hamilton paves the way for another one to be saved.
