My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you are interested in meeting Gidgit, please complete our adoption questionnaire at http://www.fluffbuddies.org/infoquestions.html

Gidgit, born approximately 8/15/16, can easily be called a professional snuggler. No kitten has that mastered like Gidgit. Gidgit came in with her bestie (not littermates), Marlow, and was a bit shyer than Marlow who can be fearless. Gidgit was shy at first and would run to hide when approached but given a week or so, both came to rule the house with their silly play. And her squiggly, noodle tail is absolutely adorable. Loves to be petted and lightly scratched all over. Gidgit has turned into just as much of a goofball as Marlow, but excels in nighttime snuggles. I can't emphasize how much this kitty loves to snuggle during the night. In time, she will start bedtime with her human, but as soon as she starts to feel comfortable in her new home, she will come in the night to snuggle and purr. She LOVES to snuggle in under the covers. If having a kitty snuggle up and sleep with you isn't your cup of tea, Gidgit probably isn't the kitty for you and between the two, Marlow would probably be a better fit. She loves the available lap during the day too. Gidgit loves her wet food and is somewhat of a bully when it comes to food. We are still working on her kitchen counter surfing skills but this can be easier deterred if you feed her wet food (a great bonding tool) and put it on the floor immediately. She simply wants to make sure you don't forget her. Additionally, Gidgit has all the amazing cuteness and play that any kitten has, and her foster family has fallen in love with her. She will probably hiss a bit when introduced to another kitty until she gets used to another friend, but with time, she will adjust. She is even ok around mellow dogs, although may take a bit longer to get used to more mobile dogs.

Adoption events are held at the Fair Oaks Petco (Madison at Hazel) on Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 4pm.
