Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Irene is a sweet petite 8 year old miniature piebald dachshund recently released from a commercial breeding facility. Irene is a bit shy and submissive, but she does love attention. She enjoys being held and cuddled and will follow you everywhere. Irene is a little nervous about all the new things she's encountering, but is adapting quickly to her new environment. She gets along with other small dogs and will need a canine companion to help show her the ropes. Irene will need a home with a securely fenced yard and no small children under the age of 8. Irene is recovering from ongoing vet treatment. Provided all goes well, she will be available for adoption at the beginning of April. Suggested adoption donation for Irene is $250 and goes toward the high cost of veterinary care for our foster dogs. Wag N Train Terrier Rescue adopts only to people living in states neighboring Nebraska and requires the adopter to travel to Omaha, NE to pick up their newly adopted dog. We do not transport or fly our rescue dogs. A securely fenced yard is necessary to adopt one of our terriers. Please note, invisible or underground fencing is not considered secure or appropriate containment for terriers.Adoption applications can be found at www.wagntrainterrierrescue.com/adoption-information
