Amigo likes most other large dogs, and meets them easily. He does not like small dogs or cats due to his high prey drive. He enjoys squeaky toys, racing in the yard, walking with his family and car rides. Amigo is nervous when meeting new people, especially men. He may bark or try to jump up on someone he doesn't know. Once he's comfortable with a new person, he is very affectionate, staying with his person, and cuddling at every opportunity. He loves all types of affection. Amigo would benefit from additional training and more socializing experiences. He is playful, smart and, with his great eye contact, is responsive to correction. Attention, praise and food are the best rewards for Amigo.
Amigo needs an adult-only home and someone who can be his companion. He thrives on his connections with people and is looking for a best pal.
