Bailey's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Bailey's Story...
Bailey is an adorable 5 month old puppy who will be about 45 lbs as an adult. He is friendly to everyone, is quite playful and wiggly. A real sweetheart, just needs love! (aka attention and exercise.) Gets along well with other dogs. Is crate trained and making good progress on housetraining. Owner surrender b/c they "didn't have time" for him. NOTE: We do require a fenced yard for all dog adoptions, a real fence and not a shock collar system.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bailey, a Mount Gilead Border Collie/Australian Shepherd puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd for sale in Mount Gilead, or seeking a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd puppy from a breeder in Mount Gilead.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mount Gilead already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mount Gilead breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Border Collie/Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mount Gilead paves the way for another one to be saved.
