CARSON - GIRLS JUST WANT TO HAVE FUN!
We believe Carson is a one year old Shih Tzu or Shih Tzu Havanese mix. She is probably fully grown and weighs about 15 pounds. Her motto in life seems to be “Girls Just Want To Have Fun”. She is a playful, entertaining little dog. She has fun whether she is standing on her back legs waiving her paws at you asking for a treat, playing fetch with her squeaky hedgehog toy, or engaging in a tug of war or wrestling with one of the other fosters.
Carson is a low shed/no shed dog. She is extremely soft to pet. She does have longer hair and will need to be brushed or groomed periodically to keep her from getting painful mats. Because she is an energetic, young dog she would benefit from some additional training and would probably do better in a home with a family that has previous experience with puppies/dogs. She seems to be very smart and should learn quickly.
If you are looking for a loving and entertaining companion and have a wonderful forever home, Carson may be your missing family member.

Anyone interested in our dogs must be over 21. We are only able to adopt to homes within a reasonable driving distance of the dog's foster home and please be prepared for a home visit by one of our volunteers. We do not adopt on first-come-first-served basis, we want to make sure the dog is right for the family and vice versa based on what we know about the dog's personality, habits and behaviors.
