Hi, I’m Vinny and I’m a beagle-terrier mix!

I am crate trained and working on being house trained. I love to spend time and be close to my family, and I have a very sweet, loving personality. I have lots of energy and I love to run, so I’ll need a big fenced in yard to run around in. I love to play fetch with tennis balls and sticks, and I need plenty of toys to chew on.The more energy I burn, the more calm I’ll be when its time to relax inside. I know how to sit before you throw a ball, and if you tell me to go get my toy, I will. I’m nervous when we ride in the car, but just put me in my crate with a toy and a blanket, and I’ll be fine. I am neutered and have all my shots. I love people and I want to jump up and say hello to everyone, but I’m learning how to stay down if I’m told to. I love lots of hugs and kisses and I’m excited to share them with my forever family. I love to go on runs around the neighborhood with my family, just make sure I’m on a leash. I also love to play chase and tug-of-war. I also love to dig, sometimes I even dig under the fence to go visit my neighbor dogs! When we wake up in the morning I love long stretches and cuddles. I am a good boy, and I’m VERY smart. I can learn commands fast and learn new games even faster! I would love to be in a home with another furry friend to play with, but if there isn’t another dog, that’s okay too - that just means I get more play time with my family! I love attention and I need to play with my family at least a few times a day. My favorite food is dry food mixed in with wet food, and I drink lots of water. I love lots of hugs and kisses and I’m excited to share them with my forever family.

About Southern ROOTS Rescue Inc. - Pennsylvania Chapter

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a small, non profit, all volunteer organization that has been dedicating our spare time to save Southern dogs in need for over 7 years. We are located in Knoxville TN. Our goal is to reduce the number of dogs in the "high kill" overpopulated shelters in our region and find them permanent loving homes. We are not breed specific, but are committed to the breeds and mixes that tend to be overly abundant in the southern states. We adopt to both local families and families in the Northeast. We place most of our orphans in homes in the northeast by offering USDA certified transport services.
