Riley's Story...
****COURTESY POST - IF INTERESTED IN THIS CAT PLEASE E-MAIL Jenn.quispe@gmail.com****

Hello everyone! Meet Riley, a beautiful two-year-old domestic short hair kitty, who's looking for her forever home. She's spayed and up to date on her vaccines. She's a super sweet girl who wants nothing but to cuddle up on you. She definitely still has kitten energy and will let you know when she wants to play!

She's very vocal and will talk back to you if you respond to her meows! She'll run from anywhere to get to you as soon as possible for head rubs, and she even enjoys belly rubs 🙂

Her previous owners said she was having accidents out of the litter box, but she hasn't had one yet while she has been in foster - this was likely stress related. She would be best as an only pet. She deserves (and wants!) all the attention.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Riley, a bridgeport Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in bridgeport, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in bridgeport.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in bridgeport already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a bridgeport breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in bridgeport paves the way for another one to be saved.
