Here's what the humans have to say about me:
JACKSON is a 5 year old neutered yellow male Lab who weighs 95 pounds and needs to lose at least 10. Jackson is a sweet boy and a lovely houseguest--no counter surfing or getting into human items. He doesn’t shed much and is generally low maintenance. He is house trained and does not need to be crated. He has been left alone for his foster’™ work day and was fine. Jackson likes to go for walks; he can pull some on lead but does very well with an easy-walk harness. He also loves to play in the yard; he'll retrieve for a little while but isn’t nutty about it. He is loving and gentle with the fosters’ kids and neighbors (adults and kids) he has met. Jackson is moderate energy -- a few walks and romps in the yard are fine for him. He is sleeping soundly in his fosters’ room on the floor (declining the dog bed) but he’d love to sleep in your bed or on the couch if your house rules permit it. Jackson settled down in his foster home nicely and bonds quickly with his people, following them wherever they go. He gives kisses if invited but isn't generally licky or pushy for affection. He does love hugs and pets. If you’re looking for someone to snuggle up with on the couch, Jackson is your guy! Jackson is a real sweetheart; you couldn’t ask for a better canine buddy. It would be great to let Jackson overcome some unfortunate circumstances of losing his home and find a loving permanent family soon. Watch Jackson on a walk in the video. Jackson is good with other dogs and cats. He used to live with a cat that was his buddy. He also lived with kids and is approved for kids 7 and up. Jackson is an owner surrender to Lab Rescue after his family lost his home. He was well loved and many tears were shed. He is approved for kids 7+. More info soon!
