Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Name: Faber
Breed: Lab/ Saint Bernard Cross
Age: Adult
Gender: Male
Faber is an adult male St Bernard mix, probably about 10 breeds mixed in, all rolled together to create a fun, happy, playful big dog. His age is a guesstimation somewhere past the puppy age, but also not old enough to be a senior. Faber came to rescue skinny, hairless, weak sad, and with broken/missing front teeth. He spent the first part of his life full-time on a chain. Thankfully, he carries no emotional scars, his life is all about making new friends, having fun, and living in the moment. He loves kids, loves meeting new people, lives with a cat, and does well with other dogs. Faber is house trained and crate trained. One of my favorite things about Faber is that he loves to snuggle whether you are hanging out on the couch or he is happy to hop on your bed and snuggle too. He just loves to be with his people. Faber is working on his leash skills by learning to use a gentle leader. He is a work in progress, but is showing much promise. Faber is not a difficult dog and responds well to a stern voice and he is also a big fan of treat training. Faber began his journey to rescue over a year ago and deserves to finally have a family for his very own that he can count on for the rest of his life. If you are looking for a best friend who loves to play tug of war and snuggle on the couch, then Faber is your boy!
Requirements: Needs allergy medications ($35/month) and hot spot shampoo
