The picture of purr-fect kitty love, Lucy and Izzy (short for Isabella) have been bonded since their birth 3.5 years ago. Sadly surrendered to us due to their loving owner’s severe allergies, these sweeter than sweet and friendlier than friendly felines are now on the prowl for a new loving home. Joined at the proverbial hip, where one goes, the other goes too. Not only do they adore affection, but they shower everyone they meet – from adults to older children – with love, cuddles and, when needed, tender comfort. Having suffered from Stomatitis as kittens, they had all of their teeth extracted, but they are both hale and hardy, feasting on wet and small dry food, and thriving as indoor-only cats. They have lived with a dog before and may be OK with a calm doggy friend in the future if given time to adjust.
Both are spayed, micro-chipped, up-to-date on vaccinations, and have tested negative for FIV and FeLV.
Izzy is the orange tabby and Lucy the brown tabby.
Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives!
If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application here . We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process!
Please email ARRColorado@gmail.com for more information, as we can not accept calls at this time.
Our adoption process is:
1. Fill out our Adoption Application online.
2. We'll contact you to schedule a home visit.
3. If the pet looks like a great match, fill out our Adoption Agreement online (or Foster-to-Adopt Agreement), pay the Adoption Fee, and arrange to pick up your new furry family member!
