He has lived inside since being rescued, and needs to continue inside because of his leg. He is very friendly with everyone and even purrs at the vet's office. He prefers to sleep under the covers with someone, gets along well with cats and nice dogs, and always uses the litter box. Age 3 years, weight 12 pounds. Neutered, current on shots. Fee $50. Please apply at morganspot.org before you contact us.

About Saving pets One at a Time

About Our Rescue Group...

Our mission is to reduce the numbers for unwanted pets in Morgan County. We rescue, foster, and adopt out dogs, cats, and horses. We provide low-cost or free spay/neuter services for pets of low-income owners and have an emergency pet food pantry for those in need.
We do out-of-state adoptions and recommend RescueRidersTransport for long trips.

Come Meet Our Pets...

SPOT attends Mingle With Our Mutts at the Franklin County shelter in Columbus, Ohio, every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month. We host a Mutt Strutt on the Saturday after Mothers Day in May, a free event to promote spay/neuter and showcase dogs. All our pets are in foster care and we are very flexible about meeting arrangements.

Our Adoption Process...

SPOT has an adoption application at morganspot.org. It asks for a vet reference and takes a day or less to be approved. We also have an adoption contract in which the adopter agrees to provide good care, not sell the pet, and return it to SPOT if there are problems.
