âWinston is a baby boy with ears that make you sit up and pay attention! As you can see, he's ever so cute but his flipped and flopped ears complete the picture. Winston is learning to Shake paw on command and adores having his back scratched. He is thriving in a wonderful foster home with two children and several dogs, large and small. Winston is good with all of them! Winston especially enjoys sleeping in bed with his foster parents and loves snuggling up close and snoozing like a champ. This little buddy is already crate trained and is working on reliably hitting the potty pad. He's fostered with another puppy and they love to run and play with their toys. Winston adores treats and wants to please you so he will be given one. Winston weighs 17 pounds at 10-14 weeks old and should be a medium-sized pet when full grown, probably weighing 40 to 60 pounds. This adorable young American Staffordshire Terrier mix has been given lots of love and will be an easy addition to an active, loving home.

Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for feline leukemia and FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption.
