My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lincoln will be at adoption event this Saturday March 11 at Petco in Southington from 11-3pm

Feeling the past moving in letting a new day begin hold to the time that you know you don't have to move on to let go
Add to the memory you keep remember when you fall asleep hold to the love that you know you don't have to give up to let go Remember turning on the night and moving through the morning light remember how it was with you remember how you pulled me through - from 'I Remember' by deadmau5 & Kaskade featured on 'The Lincoln Lawyer'
This sweet goofy boy has completely relinquished his past and has moved on to his beautiful fun filled future! Lincoln is a very handsome tricolored 6 month old Beagle (and maybe Walker Hound) mix who currently weighs 30 lbs. He will probably end up around 40 to 45 lbs when full grown. Now let us start out by saying that Lincoln is as Beagle and Hound as they come. He is absolutely hilarious with his antics...sometimes those antics can get him in a bit of a pickle. But we'll address the 'pickles' in a bit. Lincoln is house and crate trained. He lets himself go out for potty via a dog door to a fenced in yard. He is pretty good on leash and as one might presume, he lets his nose lead the way. Lincoln has been a real sweet heart with all of the other dogs he has met and he is really good with the 8 year old little boy in his foster home. They don't have any cats but foster mom believe he would be just fine with a feline friend (they might even catch rats together). Oh yes! If there are any rats or mice around, this boy will be your hero and get rid of them. Of course, he may bring them to you, dead, just to show what a good boy he is (lots of praise!). Now about those pickles he can sometimes get in. If you leave anything that smells good and tantalizing within reach chances are this goof ball will pilfer it. Kitchen garbage cans will need to be out of reach as well because....well let's just say it won't be pretty. He has been known to jump on a dining room chair or two but he is easily corrected. These are actually pretty typical hound puppy behaviors and with guidance he will become much more mannerly. Other than that, Lincoln pretty much has two speeds...nosey hunting mode and crash on the couch to nap mode. He's a pretty quiet boy and very easy to love. He is definitely entertaining to watch when he goes on the hunt. All in all he is just a happy go lucky sweet friendly pup who loves everyone he meets. Lincoln is already neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, current on preventatives, and micro chipped. He's looking for an equally fun family who will give him all the love he deserves for the rest of his life. This adorable pooch is a memory maker. So if you want a friend to hold on to from morning light to falling asleep at night then this guy will pull you through.
