Skip is a five year old neutered male Yorkie. He is looking for a special needs home. He came into the local shelter with his hair overgrown, severely matted and filthy. One of his eyes was so matted he couldnt see from it. Sadly while he was living on the streets he sustained an unknown injury that has left him with a neurological defecit. He needs to wear a belly band (or diaper) as he is not potty trained, and sometimes urinates when walking. We just bought non slip 'booties' for him for when he wants to walk on the hardwood floors, otherwise he slides and cant stay balanced. He gets along with other dogs and cats. He is VERY loving, and uses our legs to support himself when hes tired. When he sits he looks like a human, but he has mastered being able to stand up from that position, so it works for him! If you think you have the patience and time for a super sweet special needs boy, please fill out an adoption application on our website www.pitsrus.org. There are more photos of him in the comments. The video was him finding a squeeky toy that is his new favorite!
