Kiefer was adopted from a local shelter in December when he was 5 months old. Due to his high energy, the family with 4 very young kids soon realized they couldn't give him what he needed in the way of training and guidance. Busy enough with their four children and work, they reached out for help on Facebook and thru some friends they found Critter Cavalry Rescue. We helped keep this boy from going back to the shelter. At a mere 53 pounds, this stunning boy is a Black Lab mix that will be a 75+ pound boy when grown. Kiefer is quick and smart and doesn't run off. He was housetrained in 2 weeks and just needs someone to help polish him and do basic obedience training. A fantastic dog with an eagerness to learn, he needs a strong leader to show him the way. He'd do best in a family with teenage children but is great with everyone due to lots of socializing at the dog park and at Heidi's Camp Doodle of TN. So if you're looking for a tall, dark and handsome man, look no further than Kiefer! PLEASE NOTE: Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted. Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site. The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.
