Olaf & Blaze's Story...
Blaze and Olaf are a bonded pair of male guinea pigs. They were born in 2015. These two laid back boys enjoy snacks and will melt into lap puddles when snuggling. Blaze is a large smooth-coated pig who is orange, dark brown and white. Olaf is a smaller Crested pig who is white with some golden tan. They are an extremely handsome duo. This pair would do well with a family who is willing to give them the loads of love and attention they deserve! We believe they'd do well with mature, kind children, too.

Their adoption fee is $45. For more information on adopting Olaf & Blaze, email us at info@wmicritterhaven.org. Adopters must be at least 18 years old.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Olaf & Blaze, a Grand Rapids Guinea Pig was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Guinea Pig for sale in Grand Rapids, or seeking a Guinea Pig from a breeder in Grand Rapids.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Rapids already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Rapids breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Guinea Pig breeders who help with Guinea Pig rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Rapids paves the way for another one to be saved.
