Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Lovi, an adorable little fluff ball who is 4 years old and weighs just under 12 lb. We believe her to be a Shih-Tzu/Maltese mix. Here's what we can tell you about her... Lovi just wants to be near you or in your lap. While she hasn't bonded with the other dog in her current foster home, they live harmoniously together, but the other dog doesn't provide the same comfort to her that people do. The info we received when we accepted her is that she was child, dog and cat-friendly. She is a delightful little dog who is indeed child-friendly: she sleeps with the kids at night, gives kisses, loves to play fetch, walks well on leash, and will stand on her hind legs for treats, and provides an off-the-chart cute factor. She doesn't like the crate but does appear to be potty trained (she's only had one accident in her foster home).
We believe Lovi will be happiest in a home where her people won't leave her alone for long hours routinely. Her size makes it easy to take her places and she enjoys going for rides in the car. She is probably better suited to living in a house rather than an apartment or condo. If you're looking for a constant companion and someone to make you feel special, Lovi may be the dog for you.
Lovi's adoption fee of $325 includes: vet exam, heartworm test (neg), routine dewormer, flea control, rabies vaccination, distemper and bordetella vaccinations, heartworm prevention, microchip and spay.
