My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cheese is a big bundle of kindness, love and appreciation. He’s a big, strong boy and a bit on the heavier side. Despite his intimidating size, he’s a sweetheart with gentle eyes that can make your heart melt in an instant.

When he first arrived at his foster home, he was shy and spent several days hiding, only coming out to eat and use his litter when no one was around. Eventually, he became more comfortable in his foster home, and now he loves being pet and will approach anyone to say hello and show affection. He will also roll on his back when enjoying being pet, but it’s important to keep away from his belly, thighs and hind paws as he doesn’t really like those areas to be touched. He also likes to be engaged in play with strings and other things he can chase or catch. He’s also a lap cat who might take a nap on your legs if he gets really comfy.

Cheese is a talkative cat with a very unique, raspy meow unlike any other. His purr is loud and passionate and he’s a bit of a snorer too when he’s in a deep sleep.

This big boy has a big appetite too. He loves wet food, dry food and treats, and isn’t too picky about what he is given. He will snack on whatever food is available throughout the day and also drinks lots of water.

Cheese doesn’t mind the presence of other cats, and his friendliness and energy indicates that he would be comfortable in a home with children as well. With his big presence, Cheese would complete any home that has lots of love to give.
