Gracie's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Gracie's Story...
Gracie is a strikingly beautiful snowshoe kitty (approximately 3 y/o). Gracie is a very sweet feline who was raised in a home with both cats and dogs and loves snuggling up next to her feline friends. She was originally adopted as a kitten but rejoined our rescue group (COFAS) when her previous family was forced to relocate due to financial hardship. Though such a change can be a lot for any kitty, we have full confidence that Gracie will acclimate well to any new home!

Gracie is currently accepting applications for a new FURever family and will be available for adoption by the end of February! Be sure to get your application in early as we are certain this gorgeous girl won't last long!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gracie, a Athens Snowshoe cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Snowshoe for sale in Athens, or seeking a Snowshoe cat from a breeder in Athens.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Athens already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Athens breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Snowshoe breeders who help with Snowshoe rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Athens paves the way for another one to be saved.
