Dessa Darling came to us through our Community Cats Program, and after she received her vet treatments necessary she went to a partnering pet supply store for adoption. Adopted soon after, Dessa went to a home with another cat and two children. She got along well with the kids, but did not get along with the other cat. Unfortunately, Dessa Darling was returned to us when her owners separated and couldn’t find a place for her. She is acclimating to the shelter life, and is a little shy but very sweet. Visit with her and she may not come right up to you, but she will start to rub her cheeks against everything around her to give you hints. Dessa loves cheek and chin rubs, and will flop around with happiness when she gets attention. She is such a sweet little gal, and not to be overlooked when searching for a feline friend!
