Hey there, I'm Kira. I'm a sleek and shiny, 10 month old Black Lab mix. I weigh about 45 lbs which makes me an ideal size to snuggle with you on the sofa or ride in the car. My sleek and shiny black coat makes me easy to care for. I ended up in a high kill shelter in Georgia, but luckily a rescuer saw me and pulled me out just in time! (Phew! that was close!) I made the trip from Georgia to New Jersey on February 26th and now I'm just waiting for my new family to come and get me.
Something to know about me is that I love attention and being with people! I have lots of energy and I'd make a terrific hiking, jogging or walking partner. I like kids but I am selective about being with other dogs and I am not a fan of felines. I'm house and crate trained (they tell me this is a bonus!) but I still need some work learning my leash manners. Don't worry, I'm a quick learner when someone just gives me a chance! Will it be you?
Kira is up to date on her vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped! If you are interested in meeting with Kira, be sure to go to our website, EHRDOGS.ORG, and fill out an application!! Don't forget to mention her name, KIRA LIZMAN!!
