Miles's Story...
Meet Miles! He is a wonderfully rambunctious boy that is on the lookout for his loving forever home. Miles is so chock full of energy that he will do great going to a home with someone who likes to go running or on lots of hikes. Once he bonds to you, he will stick to you like glue and follow you around like your shadow. Miles isn't overly interested in toys and would prefer to go on adventures with his people. He can be a bit rough when he is taking treats but is otherwise the sweetest boy. Miles will need to be signed up for positive, reward-based classes before going to his new home. These classes will give him a good outlet, work on his manners, and provide him with socialization. Miles really likes other dogs but has a history of resource guarding and can be a bit much for some. He will need to meet any potential new doggy housemates before going to his new home. Miles does have a history of chasing small animals and will do best in a home without cats or other small critters. He is very sweet but since he can be overly exuberant when taking treats, he needs a home with older respectful children or adults only. If you are interested in Miles, please come to the front to fill out an adoption application today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Miles, a Bellingham Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
