This handsome boy is Remington! Remington is a little over two years old & is believed to be a lab / possibly beagle mix, weighing about 60 lbs. He’s certainly got some hound in that mix! Remington is a very sweet boy who had no complaints until one day life changed. Remington’s owner initially included him in every aspect of his life, including taking him to work. Then his owner had some changes in his life including a move & a job change, leading to Remington being left alone a lot & not getting the attention & energy burn he was used to. That was when Remington started to show some destructiveness in the apartment they moved into, which in turn led to him being bounced around to other family members. While he has continued to be very well cared for, poor Remington is just not getting the attention & exercise he needs in the home he’s staying at now. He is a good boy, good with other dogs & kids, & just needs a home where he can get adequate attention, exercise & energy burn. He LOVES to run so someone that would jog with him or a young sibling to wear him out would be ideal! A securely fenced yard will be a requirement with possible exceptions. Remington has been allowed to run & roam off leash, but doesn’t always want to mind! His current caretaker believes this is because he’s just so excited to get to run that his hearing gets a little selective! Remington loves to go for rides & does great in the car! He doesn’t mind baths at all & loves to sleep in bed with his people! He also really enjoys eating chicken, so a home without fresh chicken is a must! If you’re looking for a handsome boy with sweet, playful energy to add to your home, Remington is your guy! He is fully vetted, housebroken & leash trained. Adoption fee is $100. Adoption contract, vet reference & home visit is required.
