My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Nyssa! I am about a year old. I am mostly black and white but have some tan on my face and ears, white patches on the back of my neck and the very tip of my tail is white. I am 11lbs. I came to CRT from a dog shelter that had found my sister & I as strays. If you don't pay attention to me I will bark, but i will be quiet when you ask me to. I like to cuddle and be in your lap often. I like to sleep under the covers with you, and I give lots of kisses on your face and like to lick you all over. There are other Chihuahuas in my foster home, which I get along with but I do get nervous easily. Bigger dogs make me very nervous and unless you have time to work slowly with me it would be best to have only smaller dogs with me. Also, I am very hyper and can get on other Chihuahuas nerves if they don't have the same energy level as me. I don’t mind being alone as long as i have a buddy and can see you. I've not been around cats, but with how hyper I am and how I like to play, I would probably chase them. I am doing pretty well with my potty-training and would need a fenced in yard to run in. I like to play with toys and run and chase just like a puppy. And like a puppy when playing with me or harnessing me up, I will sometimes use my mouth. I have never bit down to draw blood but I do like to chew. However I have never shredded my bedding. I am good to share my food and play well with other smaller dogs.
My sister, Dinah, is also up for adoption.

In summary, I LOVE attention and would like to be with you always. I’d prefer to live in a home without other animals or only with younger dogs similar in size and activity level. Do you have room in your heart for me?
