DABNEY IN KS's Story...

Meet Miss Dabney, a darling and playful little girl who was well-cared for by her previous owner. Due to long work hours, the owner did not feel that it was fair to Dabney to be alone and crated so much, and so Dabney joined the Col. Potter Cairn Rescue Family. Dabney is a little social butterfly. She loves people and other dogs. She loves to play in the fenced backyard, and is the first to initiate play bows with the resident dogs. She does well with male or female dogs. We are not sure how she does with cats. Dabney is in good health, crate trained, completely housebroken, and has a hearty appetite. She has not had experience on the leash, so it would be best if she had a fenced yard. This little girl will bring love and laughter to your life. Stay tuned!

DABNEY is being fostered in TOPEKA, KANSAS in a PRIVATE FOSTER HOME but we allow our dogs to be adopted out all over the United States and Canada!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

DABNEY IN KS, a Topeka Cairn Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier for sale in Topeka, or seeking a Cairn Terrier dog from a breeder in Topeka.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Topeka already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Topeka breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Topeka paves the way for another one to be saved.
