CHARLOTTE's Story...
Adoption Fee: $150.
My name is CHARLOTTE and I ended up at a local shelter as a stray. I'm kennel trained, potty trained, good with dogs and show no prey drive towards small animals. I was adopted by a nice family but after being in the shelter for some time, I had kennel cough. The family that adopted me had financial hardships and could not provide medical care so they returned me to the shelter. By the time the team from Panacea learned about my case I then had full blown Mycoplasma Pneumonia. After a couple weeks of hospitalization and foster care, I'm completely recovered. I'm a bit of a goofball and love everyone I meet. If you want to meet me in person please complete an application at:

OR contact info@pawsaz.org, after which a member of the Panacea team will contact you to set up a meeting.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

CHARLOTTE, a Higley Rottweiler/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler/Labrador Retriever for sale in Higley, or seeking a Rottweiler/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Higley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Higley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Higley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Rottweiler/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Higley paves the way for another one to be saved.
