Scruffie's Story...
M16-289 - My new pet parents named me Scruffie, because sometimes long hair is messy when you’re a boy kitty! They say it will be gorgeous as I get older. I am proud of my beautiful multi-colored gray and tan and white coat, and especially my lovely white shirt and socks and the little tan mark on my nose. I was born on September 1 on a farm near Buhl where my mom had found a safe place for the 5 of us to be born. She chose well, because the humans have been wonderful especially to mom. They convinced her that we should have a chance at a different kind of INSIDE ONLY life, so she agreed that the Magicats ladies could help us find wonderful forever homes. We’ve been busy getting ready for that big day! I’m neutered, current on my shots, negative for FIV/FELV very healthy, and I mostly like to do the things that kittens love to do! I’m okay with other polite cats, grown up people and older kids, but please, introduce your dogs and little kids carefully and supervise us! Gee I hope I get a great home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scruffie, a Buhl Domestic Longhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Buhl, or seeking a Domestic Longhair kitten from a breeder in Buhl.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Buhl already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Buhl breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Buhl paves the way for another one to be saved.
