My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Oh, Hiya Hoomans!! My name is Franklin and I am so glad you stopped your on line search to read my profile! I'm guessing if you are reading this that you are looking for a new furry friend to call your own. Well, it so happens that I am currently in the market for a family to call my own! I haven't had much luck so far with hooman folks, but I am still hopeful that there is someone out there for me!
I spent the first few years of my life with people who didn't take very good care of me. They let me keep my boy parts( I have since learned that I don't really need those, and Planned PEThood is going to take care of that for me!). Then they got mad when I "spread my scent" in the house. My foster mom says its not my fault, somethin called "hormones" made me do it! So they put me outside. I lived outside for a long time, no matter if it was cold or hot or rainy or sunny. While I was out there I got bit by lots of bugs.. and now I hear that one of those pesky bugs gave me worms that are in my heart!! Oh, wow, that is scary. But foster mama says Planned PEThood can take care of that for me too! Only thing is, it takes a while for the worms to go away for good. I'm going to have to stay at my foster home until they are gone. But I am hoping that my new family will love me so much they will wait until I am ready. I am worth the wait, I promise! I am a good boy, I get along great with all the dogs here at my foster house, I love all the people I meet, and I don't even chase the cats. I stay in my crate at night or when foster mom is gone and I don't make a mess or fuss about it.
Please consider me as your new furry friend. You can "pre adopt" me now! I'd like to know who my new family is going to be before I start my heartworm treatment, one less thing for me to worry about! Please contact my foster mom if you think you want to meet me!

Franklin is heartworm positive but will receive treatment prior to going to his new family. He will be neutered and up to date on vaccinations. Franklin has a microchip that will be transferred to the adopter upon completion of the adoption process.

The adoption fee for Franklin is $ 200.00.

Franklin can be pre-adopted now, and should be ready to go home to his forever family around the first of June.
