Here's what the humans have to say about me:
1.5 year old Jax nad his BFF Lucy have been through a lot together.
They lost their original home when their owners couldn't keep them anymore. Then they were adopted from Petsmart not too long ago together. They recently were returned because their new adopters were moving and could keep them. We're hoping to find them a FOREVER home together!
Jax looks like he has a permanent scowl but he is really a loving guy. Come meet them!
FLASH SALE !!! From now until July 31, all cats 1 year old or older are available for an adoption fee of only $25! Come by the shelter today and find your new best friend.
Jax is an affectionate, young boy looking for his forever home. Jax enjoys the company of people and other cats very much. Jax is a calm boy, but enjoys playing and cuddling.
Can you provide Jax with the lifelong, loving home he deserves? Please come by and meet wonderful Jax and all his beautiful friends here at the Georgetown Animal Shelter.
The application/screening process for potential adopters usually takes about 24 hours except when it falls over a weekend or holiday, and then it may take two or three days. We ask that potential adopters please be patient with us; we are only trying our best to ensure that the homeless pets in our care get the best possible home. All cats and dogs adopted from our shelter are spayed or neutered (as Texas law mandates).
Our adoption fee is currently $70 for non-residents and $75 for residents*.
The adoption fee includes:
spaying/neutering
vaccinations (appropriate to species and age)
heartworm or feline leukemia test (appropriate to species and age)
de-worming medication
microchip (a tiny ID tag inserted under the skin, which allows your pet to be returned to you quickly)
There is a $5 Pet License fee added to the adoption fee if the adopter lives inside the City Limits of Georgetown.
Please visit our website for more information on how to adopt, special events, adoption application, educational and volunteer information.
