Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello, My name is Scooby. I am almost a year old but that doesn't mean I am a boring old dude. I have lots of energy and love to play. I get along well with older cats, kittens and dogs. The older cats may describe me as annoying because I want to play but all they want to do is sleep.
I am very gentle with and protective of the kittens in the house. Lucky for me the dog in the house is very tolerant. I like to slap her in the nose a lot and when I am upset, I usually take it out on her.
I am not a guy who would do well in a home with small children. I like to bite. I do not bite to hurt you, I actually do it in place of licking. I bite when I want your attention and want you to pet me. I will bite a bit harder when I want you to stop touching me. When you walk by, I like to give you a high five (or slap you..lol, It depends on your point of view).
I constantly have my foster family laughing. I may not be a cuddly lap cat but I really am a ton of fun. I am a little rough around the edges but I truly do have a huge heart. I am a bit shy and guarded. Once I feel safe, secure and get comfortable with you I will open up more. Because of that, I will require a family who has patience and a heart as big as mine. I have missed many adoption opportunities because I wasn't what other people wanted me to be. I hope for a special family who will love and accept me for who I am.
Adoption fee: $25.
Scooby is neutered, vaccinated (rabies & FVCRP), tested for FELV/ FIV, treated for parasites & microchipped.
Scooby is being fostered in Finksburg MD (Carroll County).
