Winston and Baxter were found together on the streets of Hayward. The shelter separated them into different kennels. They were very frightened and would not allow handling by the shelter staff or vet.
After 10 days, Nobody's Perfekt Dogs took them from the shelter and reunited them in the same foster home. They immediately started acting like the friendly, playful puppies that they are. Winston, the older one, took a little longer than Baxter, the puppy, to adjust to his new surroundings. However, within a couple of hours they were playing with the other dogs and each other, as well as wanting affection from the foster family.
Neither of them are too happy about being crated, but out of the crate, they are pretty well behaved for as young as they are. Baxter was tenacious in his effort to escape from the pen that was supposed to contain them. At 7.5 lbs, it was amazing how much rearranging of the pen and crate he was able to accomplish.
Both dogs get along well with everyone (other dogs and people). They should be okay with older children and cats.
