RANGER's Story...
RANGER, a 4-5 year old Beagle mix ended up at our pound after getting so tangled in a fence, he could barely move. RANGER is the sweetest guy who weighs between 25-30 lbs. He likes other dogs and kids, although he will try to jump up on little ones. RANGER has the cutest little bark...he sounds almost as if he is talking to you. He would make a fun loving and affectionate addition to a family. He is currently in training at the local prison as part of the Cell Dog Training program where he is learning basic obedience and housebreaking. He is still available for adoption while in this program. Please call the pound or email us to find out how to meet him while he is training.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

RANGER, a Cadiz Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Cadiz, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Cadiz.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cadiz already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cadiz breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cadiz paves the way for another one to be saved.
